Pastoral care and wellbeing

Children are with us for a large part of the day. The school day is a busy one, with lots of learning, socialising and play.

From time to time a child may encounter some difficulties at school, a parent will often know when something isn't right or not going too well.

At times, talking through an issue with your child will be good enough.  At other times, you may need the support of the school team.

In the first instance, you will find a chat with your child's teacher is a good starting point.

Should any situation not resolve itself, please email into the school office and ask a member of the pastoral support team to connect with you about the issue.

The pastoral support team are:

Mrs Martin - Deputy Head Teacher
Mrs Dean - Head of Early Years
Mr Burke - Head Teacher
Mrs Vile - Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA)

To connect with a member of the team please use office@stcecilias.school or call us on the main number 020 8337 4566.

We've included below a few resources around some of the topics that we work with, these may be useful to you.

The Place2Be have a range of parenting resources for you at Place2Be.

At St. Cecilia's Catholic Primary School, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in all circumstances and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. To read more about our commitment to safeguarding please view our safeguarding policy.
